Hi

I could use some help setting up my Midiman Midisport 2x2, as it won't work for me here. I think I've done everything I'm supposed to: Enabled USB, usbfs, hotplugging and ALSA USB sound/midi) in the kernel, installed hotplugging scripts, fxload and Clemens Ladisch's firmware loader. When I plug in the midisport it flashes it's lights once, but its is dead from there. The USB led should be on while its plugged in, right? Anyway, although lsusb lists midisport among the devices ('Bus 003 Device 004: ID 0763:1001 Midiman Midisport 2x2'), aconnect -io does not. Anything I've forgotten?

I'm running Gentoo Linux with the 2.6.4-mm2 kernel, and ALSA compiled into the kernel.

Thanks

Arve Knudsen
