Hi,
I'm using linux 2.2.16-22 (I think it came with RH 7.0) on my box. Its a
HP Pavilion with the Intel 810e chipset and the accompanying sound-card

alsa modules on this version. I do *not* have a problem in compiling alsa
While playing an MP3 file using mpg123 (oss), I want to be able to hear
viavoice TTS output (which also goes via oss).
My GUS PnP which uses snd-card-interwave supports hardware mixing of up to
16 PCM channels.
I read at http://www.math.tu-berlin.de/~sbartels/alsa/devlow/pcm.html

I've written a Python script to suck all the alsa-user archives off of
Geocrawler.
Why?
Their search function is broken.
The user archive is 8995867 bytes and downloadable from
http://mlug.missouri.edu/~markrages/user.tar.bz2
The devel archive is 4894328 bytes and downloadable from

Hi to all
I'm not a gamer but for some reasons I need to use a simple analog
connect to my Terratec DMX (Ess Maestro 2e).
Environment:
SuSE Linux 7.2, kernel 2.4.4
Soundcard and sound applications (mixer etc.) are working ok using the

I've got a problem compiling the alsa driver (version 0.5.11). Make quits
with the following error message:
gcc -DALSA_BUILD -D__KERNEL__ -O2 -m486 -malign-loops=2 -malign-jumps=2
-malign-functions=2 -DCPU=686 -DLINUX -Wall -Wstrict-prototypes -fomit-frame-pointer
-pipe -I/usr/include
