Thanks to everyone who offered input on the xrun thing. I found a
stray process on my system which was eating up some CPU and killed
it off, and now I don't get xruns anymore. Since this is probably
a pretty common occurance, it seems like something that might do
well to be added to the apla

I would imagine that removing the package that had files there
originally would remove them too, or removing the package that has the
files you symlinked to would leave

Hi!
I have an old TurtleBeach Tropez Soundcard and some problems using the
snd-card-wavefront module.
I downloaded alsa-driver-0.5.11.tar.bz2, compiled and installed it with
no errors (on SuSE Linux 7.2).
When I try to load the module, I always get the message that the card
could not be found. I

Hi there,
I have big problems trying to setup ALSA-09 (both download, and CVS
versions) on a SuSE 7.2 with Kernel 2.4.7 and a SoundBlaster PCI64 with
the Ensoniq 1370 chip.
The out-of-the-box ALSA-05 that came with SuSE 7.2 works just fine, and
if I want to install the latest ALSA-05 series driv
