Hi!

I have an old TurtleBeach Tropez Soundcard and some problems using the
snd-card-wavefront module.
I downloaded alsa-driver-0.5.11.tar.bz2, compiled and installed it with
no errors (on SuSE Linux 7.2).
When I try to load the module, I always get the message that the card
could not be found. I feel that although trying, I can't disable the
isapnp-stuff:

linux:~ # modprobe snd-card-wavefront
/lib/modules/2.4.4/misc/snd-card-wavefront.o: init_module: No such
device
Hint: insmod errors can be caused by incorrect module parameters,
including invalid IO or IRQ parameters
/lib/modules/2.4.4/misc/snd-card-wavefront.o: insmod
/lib/modules/2.4.4/misc/snd-card-wavefront.o failed
/lib/modules/2.4.4/misc/snd-card-wavefront.o: insmod snd-card-wavefront
failed
l

I find in /var/log/messages:
Sep 19 13:28:01 linux kernel: isapnp: Scanning for PnP cards...
Sep 19 13:28:01 linux kernel: isapnp: No Plug & Play device found
Sep 19 13:28:01 linux kernel: snd: WaveFront: isapnp: device not found
Sep 19 13:28:01 linux kernel: snd: WaveFront: isapnp detection failed
Sep 19 13:28:01 linux kernel: snd: WaveFront: No cards found or devices
busy

/etc/modules.conf looks like this:
options snd-card-wavefront \
        snd_index=0 \
        snd_cs4232_pcm_port=0x530 \
        snd_cs4232_pcm_irq=7 \
        snd_dma1=3 \
        snd_dma1_size=64 \
        snd_dma2=1 \
        snd_dma2_size=64 \
        snd_ics2115_irq=9 \
        snd_ics2115_port=0x330 \
        snd_fm_port=0x388 \
        snd_wss_port=0x534 \
        snd_isapnp_id=0x7532 \
        snd_isapnp=0

All the parameters seems to be in range to me (and work under Win98).
You got an idea?

Thanks in advance!

Greetings,
cu Florian
