Hi! I have an old TurtleBeach Tropez Soundcard and some problems using the snd-card-wavefront module. I downloaded alsa-driver-0.5.11.tar.bz2, compiled and installed it with no errors (on SuSE Linux 7.2). When I try to load the module, I always get the message that the card could not be found. I feel that although trying, I can't disable the isapnp-stuff: linux:~ # modprobe snd-card-wavefront /lib/modules/2.4.4/misc/snd-card-wavefront.o: init_module: No such device Hint: insmod errors can be caused by incorrect module parameters, including invalid IO or IRQ parameters /lib/modules/2.4.4/misc/snd-card-wavefront.o: insmod /lib/modules/2.4.4/misc/snd-card-wavefront.o failed /lib/modules/2.4.4/misc/snd-card-wavefront.o: insmod snd-card-wavefront failed l I find in /var/log/messages: Sep 19 13:28:01 linux kernel: isapnp: Scanning for PnP cards... You got an idea? Thanks in advance!
