[AFMUG] OTDR noob

just got my first otdr, been trying to shoot the only fiber I have which is 4ct flat drop about 50ft. No luck so far, figured out I needed a launch cable which I now have (500m) but still can't see the mechanical connector / reflection / loss of the flat drop after the launch cable, I'm guessing it

many devices now are isolated, you can check the router case to each terminal +/- on the input and see if any are referenced, if not it will work on -48 or +48. For example the ccr1072 and now ccr2116,2216, etc have a '-48v' power supply, but it's actually isolated and worked on either. 48v is 48v
