OK, but that was not our experience with the 450d antenna. I think even Matt
admitted it was a couple dB less gain after touting its alleged improved
performance. The other factor was speed license keys. We bought all our 450 SMs
as 20 Mbps sustained but have spent $80 to upgrade around 25% of th
Watermarked or not, I would expect companies like Netflix/Hulu/Amazon to
let into the wild "poisoned content" that might just brick a SuperBox.
That's probably what I might do.

I would guess a US citizen is breaking the law by using illegal content
irrespective of where it is hosted.
Just like it is illegal to bribe someone anywhere on the planet.
That’s why I just tip them.

You can buy an ONN brand Android TV box at Walmart for $20. But someone puts a

Well, technically, it's a 450b Retro. Original Message From: "Sam

Except in US politics now, where SCOTUS has allowed "donations" directly

The wideband 4.9-5.9Ghz antenna on the 450b was tuned for peak gain around
5.4ghz, and it had about 3dB less gain in 5725-5850 Mhz than a
450d despite the similar antenna dimensions. We liked the 450d a lot
because it had good gain in the primary band we were running our APs in,
and it could be ea
I wouldn't see how Netflix would invest if they're one of the ones being
pirated.
It was not clear to me that the box circumvented regular streaming
content, as they did not really call out the fact that you could get
Netflix *(etc.) without subscribing to same.

Not really. 450b sucks with Fresnel issue and other limitations. 450 and
450 retro SM's with reflector dishes still do a solid job for us here in NM.

Yeah, the 450b "high" gain ended up a few dBi under a 450d or 450+reflector
in 5.7ghz. 450b peak gain was in DFS land where the gain on the AP antenna
was the limiting factor, not the SM.

theyre selling them again. Its blatant piracy. but however theyre doing it
circumvents laws and is greylegal. boss has had his for a long time,
content has stayed available. netflix is probably an investor

450d was just a 450 SM with an integral dish, it had the same lower rcv gain as
a 450b. It should have never existed.450b has higher xmt power than 450 SM,
higher PPS thanks to faster CPU, and does 4.9 GHz thru 5.9 GHz in one SKU.
