Hallo TSM'ers
I have come to install the storage agent on HPUX, but the files
downloaded from index.storsys.ibm.com all end with the sffix

and the install docs refer to using swinstall -s /cdrom
now, obviously the .img is an image of a cdrom
Does anyone know how I can install from the

Hello all,
I am attempting to setup a storage agent on Solaris.
To ensure I am defining the paths correctly, I need to identify which /dev/rmt/0st
etc.. device file on the solaris machine is pointed at which tape drive by WWN. In the
past I have been handed this info by a unix admin, this time
was to fix the problem in the product code. This situation
will no longer be a problem in a future release.

We ran into a situation over the weekend that I have not seen mentioned
before, and I was hoping that someone might be able to shed some light on
what occurred.
TSM server has a 3583

StorageAgent). During that time, all backups have been to two LTO-1 drives.
Last week, four LTO-2 drives were added to the library, and the library was
partitioned so that the two original drives are in one library (libr 3583

Did you go to 64 bit mode when you went to 5.1.1.6
Did you go to 64 bit mode when you went to 5.1.1.6? We have some
clients that start out backing up at a good rate and then shift into a
mode where they are running very very slow. We now think this might be
a 64 bit mode server problem.
