This is my first attempt at getting LAN free backups working from a win2k client to a win2k server. Client is 5.1.5.0 and server is 5.1.5.4 ibm 3584 lto library with 5 drives everything SAN attached
this is the actlog error i am getting when i try and start the storageagent on the win2k client.

I'm sure there is a communication problem but don't know where. The storage agent is obviously talking to the tsm server or else I wouldn't get the above in actlog.
CLIENTA is defined as a server as follows

I've defined two drive paths for CLIENTA using the device names from tsmdlst command on the client The TSM Server can ping 192.168.16.6 I've set crossdefine, serverhladdress,serverlladdress and serverpassword I've set shared=yes on the library
On the client my dsmsta.opt file looks like this
SERVERNAME PRODTSM01 devconfig c:\progra~1\tivoli\tsm\storageagent\devconfig
devconfig looks like this, generated from "dsmsta setstorageserver...."

CLIENTA can ping 192.168.16.15
As I said this is the first time I've tried configuring this so I'm fully expecting that theres something i've done wrong !!
