I have installed and customized ITSM backup/archive client 5.2.3.1 and Storage Agent 5.2.3.2 on HPUX 11.11. The ITSM server is at 5.2.3.1 on AIX 5.2-ML03.
If I'm going to start the Storage Agent, the process will disappear after a while. Within the ITSM client error log there are the following error entries:
TcpOpen: TCP/IP error connecting to server Error -50 opening session cuSignOnResp: Error -72 reading SignOn response from server sessOpen -72 receiving identify Resp verb from server
All these messages don't have message number in the ITSM client log. Within the ITSM servers activity log there are no error messages. Any idea what could be wrong here?
You can always search the IBM web site for such things... Go to www.ibm.com and enter search arg "Error -72 reading SignOn" and you'll find a hit which likely answers your problem. I'd recommend going over your configuration, particularly ports.
