Or, just do it the old way - once your copies are synced in the new copy

Try this: Checkout libvol libname 05 checklabel=no remove=no.
(Put your libname in). This removes the tape from what TSM thinks is
in the library without the library and TSM actually having to physically

The backups will attempt to start anytime in the time set for duration.
So if you have your backups scheduled to start at 1AM, and a duration of 2 hours, the
backups could start as late as 3AM. They don't have to complete within the time of
duration, just start.

I have had a lot of bad experiences using imation DLT cartridges in the past
but I have no experience of their LTO products. As for LTO we use TDK's with
a pretty much flawless track record.
