Hi Listers, I'm having trouble searching the archives for info on the
possible repair scenarios for a keel bolt seeping seawater. It's not much,
just slightly weeping. I know this has been written about extensively but not
finding it on this forum. The worst case scenario is the keel must b
Hi all, have not been on post for awhile. Sailed to Bermuda to meet an online
date, that's another story, the man keeps his Gulfstar ketch on mooring in
Cotuit MA. and since home, I've been relishing the benefits of a better
sailing boat where I can make decisions (even if my C&C is only 33').
On my '76 33-1, the cockpit drains into thru hulls with inline ball valves in a
y configuration below the cockpit floor and then straight down thru the hull,
well beneath the waterline. It appears from line drawings that this is the only
practical configuration. If the drains were rerouted to ei

Just FYI West Marine and Lewmar are currently having their annual BOGO free
deal. Don’t know how long it lasts but Iwas able to replace all 6 winches at a
better price than using my West Marine employee discount.

this one apparently is, would you expect it to sail well to weather? In my
limited opinion, I thought the deeper the keel, a fin keel, the better it would
go. Am I wrong on this? I sailed and lived aboard a Bowman 47

Hi Listers,I’ve been considering selling shares to offset the costs of
ownership. I’d like to do it on a “limited term” basis, like an annual share
basis. Does anyone have any experience with this? Pls contact me off or on

My boat's on the hard prefacing a Matthew haulout. While she's out, she's due

Went to all rope halyards in 2017 and changed out masthead sheaves at the same
time. Zephyrworks was great for making new sheaves. The old v-based wire to
rope sheaves would have made a mess of new all rope halyards. The new sheaves
work great.
