Forget the brevets and the long solitary hours in the countryside. Ride with your children, at their pace. It's a great way to stay connected as they grow up, pass through puberty and into the world. And it will be a great way to reconnect when they return home. The Deacon's advice is spot on. Don't let yourself get too busy to just BE, at least one hour a day and one day a week.
