My set up is nearly the same as Charlie's - just with lower gearing. 36/32 front 16/19 rear. I live in the mountains so the lower range works better for me. Incidentally, my setup offers nearly the same range as the stock QB gearing of 40/32 x 18. I ride around town in 36x16. I only use the lower gearing when I have a long mountain climb or I'm commuting with a load - although I can't remember the last time I actually switched gears. With a one tooth difference between tine gear set ups, my fender line looks great and my axle runs about midway in the slot.
