Having decided to take the Paleo Plunge, I too wondered about what to carry on longish rides. I finally settled on a tin of kipper snacks or a beef stick along with two Kleen Kanteens, one filled with water the other half full of a dry red wine (following the fermentation process the only carbs left in the wine are in the alcohol).
