My only issue with the MUSA shorts is that they're a little too short- waisted in a way that doesn't work for some women (i.e., the waist isn't deep enough to accommodate a woman's derriere comfortably). Clearly they're not truly a unisex garment. That said, I find I can still wear them comfortably enough for general summer wear. Not so much on the bike, though.
I'm a fan of Swrve knickers; I have a couple pairs of the cotton/lycra and a pair of the Scholler midweight. The cotton pairs are newer and I assume they were made after working out some of the earlier sizing and cut issues. The Scholler knicks were sized horribly wrong and I ended up having to tailor them by hand to get them to fit me (I got them on closeout so I couldn't send them back). I find them comfortable on and off the bike -- and I fit the mens' version better than the womens'. Go figure. My favorite MUSA garment so far is the long-sleeved shorts, both in seersucker and in railroad/hickory fabric. They're cut full, not fitted, so women can wear them just as easily. They wear well, soften beautifully in the wash, and feel great pulled off the clothesline on a warm day. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "RBW Owners Bunch" group.
