Michael and Mike -

Whoever does marketing for Patagonia must be worried about job
security, because the names seem to change every season. Mine are a
couple years old (and holding up very well!). Fom the picture and
description appear close if not exactly the same as what they are
calling Rock Guide shorts now.

[n.b.: Checking the current catalogue on-line, I noticed the Retro-
Grades. Look like they might work well for cooler weather...]

Patagonia tends toward slender fit. I rarely wear liners, but have
used Swobo;s with Patagonia no problem on third and fourth day of
multi-day tours. You may want to order one waist size larger than
usual. Patagonia is really easy with exchanges if you the size is
off.
