I have been using the Pearl Izumi Versa Elite shorts, removable liner,
light weight stretchy fabric, fairly slim cut (for me). They come in
black, tan and brown too. I use cheaper lycra shorts as liners as
well.  I have also been eying the Swrve shorts, they are a little
beefier fabric then the Pearl's.
