Bob 1st Ave and Hennessey appears to be be the Shore Casino with plenty of parking and hopefully restrooms. It seems like a good Start/Finish point. This would be the 20/25M loop out to Sandy Hook
Driving seems to be GSP to NJ36 near Matawan and then NJ36 to AH and 1st Ave. There don't appear to be direct roads if you stay on the GSP further east and then come north to AH. Is this correct or are there better routes? Only problem would be the NYC folks coming by train to reach the Start. Would the HHT be the best way for them to come from Matawan or are there better choices if they stay on the train past Matawan and get off at another station?? They could go down to Long Branch for the return trip.
