Bob I got confused by Atlantic Highlands and a town further east called Highlands. I see the difference now.
On the Bing aerial map the whole 1st Ave/Hennessey area in AH looks like a parking lot with trucks with boat trailers (shouldn't be surprised close to the water). Any particular spot to meet up? on the Bing aerial map, there appears to be a narrow trail between AH (eastern end of the parking lot) which runs right along the water to the next town further east. Is this the old RR bed?? It appears to be between the water and Mt Mitchell. Seems like a tentative schedule is: * People driving: Be ready to ride in AH at the 1st Ave/Hennessey parking lot at 1130 * Wait for NYC folks coming on the NJ Transit train scheduled in Matawan at 1011 and riding to AH on the HHT.
