Close, indeed, but no cigar. In my opinion, the Carbonomas is more
elegant than the 3T on the Focus. Riv's prototype recalls the Colnago
precisa style fork, which I think is really nice looking, albeit in a
non-traditional way. The 3T is squished looking, like they tried to
make it more "aero" or something. It upsets my aesthetic
sensibilities, but I'm glad to see it out in the peloton. Who knows?
Maybe we'll see the Carbonomas featured in next year's Hell of the
North.

One bit of good news in the meantime is that the Carbonomas quite
easily takes a Challenge Paris-Roubaix 28mm tire (I slipped mine in
the last time I was at RBWHQ to see if it fits). I actually want one
of those forks; I just need to find a frame to buy for it!
