My demo Gus Boots came with XT 1x11 indexing. I am impressed so far with how it shifts except for a few things: 1. though it shifts semi-responsively to lower gears, shifting to higher gears is reluctant; 2. it requires coaxing to get into the highest gear. I’m unsure how to solve that. With friction, it would be easy, but I doubt an 11x and friction play well together and it may not even be an option.
