I’ve been puzzling this question myself in relation to Boots. I have three questions:
— do sidewalls breakdown before tread is gone, necessitating the need to change tires sooner or switch to tubes? Jan at Compass said something about this, I think in a recent BQ, but it may have been specific to their uber supple ELs only? — If I sustain a flat in the middle of nowhere, what do I need with me to deal with it? I presume a tire boot to glue in if a tire tear, but then run a tube, or carry liquid latex? Anything else? — Recommended pump for low pressure/high volume? Ideally a frame mount, but not essential.
