Up front: Nothing changed except the two outer rings are now 40 and chainguard. Same inner ring.
In the back: I installed a new 8-speed 11-32 shimano hg51 cassette. New SRAM PC850 chain. I had a PC 830 chain and HG50 7-speed cassette 13-30 with 4.5 spacer on the rear wheel before so it would fit the eight speed free hub. But the new cassette/chain combo should not be effecting this in any way I cam imagine. Everything works great and shifts fine.
