I have ridden an RB-1 but only for a short ride. I also rode a Heron Road for a short ride. I had a too small for me Ram and a fit-me-perfectly Bleriot. The biggest thing that sticks out for me is how differently they felt. I liked the RB-1 and Ram, loved the Bleriot, didn't like the Heron. Citing specific reasons for those feelings would be difficult but they are accurate descriptions of how much I enjoyed riding each.
I also have a new in the box 56cm Quickbeam and a new in the box 57cm Rodeo. One of these days I'll get around to building (or selling) them. If I had an RB-1 I don't think I'd be able to let it go. It- along with the MB-1 and XO-1- are such iconic bikes and almost proto-Rivendells. Cheers!
