Good to know about the Roadeo; one day, maybe ... Regarding the Sam Hill: I didn't like mine as a sort of heavy duty road bike, which is the niche I had in mind for it. I found it somewhat ponderous (though I wonder what a pair of nice Compass EL tires would have done to it).
But man, if it had been designed to take 50 mm tires and fenders!
