Not having any first hand knowledge of the Bridgestones, I'll just toss out
this idea. Think about the fact that Grant designed both bikes in
question, BUT he was part of a larger corporate entity when it came to the
actual execution. So I'd guess a few compromises may have been made. OTH,
he is Rivendell so the only arguments he has are with himself. The smaller
production runs, etc., mean the tube choices can be more idealized, you get
the fancy lugs, usually lots of small details that are a delight, etc.
It's just a more finely developed bicycle. Plus you're getting the benefit
is his having that many more years of experience to further refine his
thoughts & designs.

As to sell & move on, that's a tough one. It sounds like you've done a
nice build on the Bridgestone, so it should be a fairly liquid asset. If
the Legolas is what you really, truly want, figure out your size & post a
"WTB" on this site. Someone may just have one they'd part with.
