I just put Woody's fenders http://www.woodysfenders.com on my Quickbeam, and
left the rear stays long so I can just pull the bottom rear of the fender
rearward (the wood is very flexible) to get the tire out. Saw the idea for the
wood fenders to solve this problem here.

Haven't tried it on the road yet, but in the garage it works perfectly. These
fenders look really great with Riv tweed flaps, too, as you can see in some
examples on the Woody's website gallery.

Subject: [RBW] Best fenders for a QB

I have a 52cm QB that I would like to replace the current single stay SKS
fenders that don't really work with the rear wheel sliding back and forth. I
could actually go on and on about their limitations...

So with the idea that the fender must be adjusted somewhat frequently to deal
with the wheel adjustments, would the two stay SKS like Riv sells be the best
choice? I am assuming that metal fenders would just suck at this.
