Been a part of bicycle culture for many decades before Riv even
existed, currently has dozens of totally non-Riv related (Campy only
anyone?) counterparts.  And, more to my point, there are similar
cultures in every form of transportation.  Heck there are even saddle
and shoe fanciers among the horsey set.
