I don't have any groans, but maybe a few wishes... Love: The philosophy, the ride, the fit, the lifestyle, the passion and the practicality. Honestly, if it wasn't for an article on Riv I read in an old Dirt Rag mag, I doubt I would have ever discovered the Company, this group of individuals and I wouldn't have spurred a change in my life. At the time, I read the article, I didn't have any real goals, I felt that I wasn't the kind of guy who "did" sports and I certainly wouldn't have thought that a long distance bike ride would have been something I could do. This community, propelled by Riv, really got me pumped up to make the change and its something that I can't put a price tag on or categorize. I ride my bike often. I seek out more information about this thing I love and it keeps me challenged to make new goals, without feeling like I have to "train" or "compete."
Wish: More stuff for big guys (This isn't a stab at Riv, it's a wish for the industry in general). As a guy who wears an XL t-shirt, I find myself most comfortable in 3XL or sometimes a 4XL jersey. That feels defeating. Wool is sized more closely to what I normally wear, but it seems to sell out so quickly. As soon as I see one of the Riv jerseys in a 3xl, I'm making my move. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "RBW Owners Bunch" group.
