Flat resistant -- truly,I got more flats with 1.25 Paselas; this is goathead country; very very light, roll well and they are, believe it or not, comfortable, even over minor pavement cracks -- certainly as comfortable as 1.25 Paselas, but a good part of that is doubtless the Caddy ride of the Rivendells. I'd love a supple 559 or 571 26, but until those appear, the best small diameter tires are the skinnies. 170 plus bike plus load.
