No, nor I.  We do our dirt road rides on all-arounders, manyy Rivendell,
in fact.  I use a Saluki, my friend Tom has a Riv All-Arounder he got on
ebay, and Joan has a Bleriot.  Another popular model in our group is the
Surly LHT - there are two or three of those.  And one core group member
rides a full suspension recumbent.

Dirt roads can be enormous fun.  Great scenery, and you definitely won't
be bored.
