Tarik and all, I will stick my neck out and say steel is the most readily repaired material common in bicycles. I had the same break as being discussed and had it repaired within an hour in very rural southwestern New Hampshire, on a Sunday morning no less. That was seven years ago and I rode that bike to work today. Steve
