Well put Bruce. I do agree they are all good bikes! I would guess
some riders are more sensative to differences than others.

On rougher surfaces, the tires size can make a big difference in how
much vibration the rider feels, less noticeable on smooth surfaces.
After riding the infamous Texas "chip and seal" roads on 25/28mm
tires, 35s feel wonderful. I can't immagine riding 21s on these roads
like the local racer crowd does...

I have ridden my All-Rounder and Rambouillet with the same tire widths
and the bikes still feel different. Narrower tires "felt" faster than
the wider ones, but the bike still felt more less nimble/more stable
than the Rambouillet.

On the Quickbeam vs the Atlantis (64cm) the HT angle is 0.5 degrees
different and the chainstays are 1cm different. With tires size
within 1mm (measured) I can hardly feel a difference. Of course on
the Quickbeam the rear wheel moves back and forth when changing gears
and I can't tell any difference due to that.

All the Rambouillet talk has inspired me; the rain stopped, the
temperature hit 60, I'm goin ridin!
