Hi Matt,

You don't have to broadcast the SSID for the iPhone to connect to it. You just 
have to setup the connection manually one time.

One security hole I kinda have to leave open is broadcasting the SSID so my 
step daughter can find it w/ her iPhone and I don't get bonked w/ overage fees 
via cell vs wireless connections...
