As someone who's been through the door and shot at, and again through
the door and a booby-trapped double barrel shotgun failed to fire and
cut me in half, I can say that I wouldn't go in with seven heavily armed
officers, I'd want to go in with TWENTY....

Back to the content of the original post: I tossed my old wireless
router for just this reason - it only supported up to WEP which I know
is easy to crack, so I got the new one that goes to WPA2.

One security hole I kinda have to leave open is broadcasting the SSID so
my step daughter can find it w/ her iPhone and I don't get bonked w/
overage fees via cell vs wireless connections...
