You draw so much from so little. Let me remind you ONCE AGAIN that not
everyone speaks/writes/converses in tomes. Most of us write posts that are
short and snappy and (shock horror) to the point. To assume that you have
much of an idea about me or my viewpoint on a whole host of topics that
aren’t even being discussed is ridiculous. You aren’t 'defending creation'.
You are discussing an arcane issue about which there is very very little
evidence and whose practical application has to be close to zero. It is one
of my great complaints about cloistered theologians in that they spend their
time become greater experts on lesser topics until they seem to know almost
everything about a subject of no value. Pass. I choose to be relevant. The
study of angels is interesting, but a long way from helpful.

I marvel that we have, apparently, so much about which we agree, in
terms of the basics of the faith, and yet... you're so completely
lacking in any wonder or awe at creation, and prefer to put people
down instead of make intelligent points in defence of that creation.

"It ought never to be forgotten, that a firm union of this country,
under an efficient government, will probably be an increasing object
of jealousy to more than one nation of Europe; and that enterprises to
subvert it will sometimes originate in the intrigues of foreign
powers, and will seldom fail to be patronized and abetted by some of
them. Its preservation, therefore ought in no case that can be
avoided, to be committed to the guardianship of any but those whose
situation will uniformly beget an immediate interest in the faithful
and vigilant performance of the trust." [Federalist Papers #59]
