Hey Sytze - I totally hear ya! When I first read your post - I kinda skipped over the SSD - as I wasn't exactly sure what you meant. But, when I saw how fast you mentioned the Bootup became - I came back to that SSD thing to ponder it more.
Yeah - I have been thinking about re-building one of my machines - to have the main drive based upon SSD - like a Flash HD - as I figured this stuff would be incredibly fast - not only for Boot-Up, but also for work in my other main application of choice. As Stephen was saying - its about what other stuff we are working with besides VFP - to see the true impact of working in a new OS. My other app is 3D animation SW - which is a PIG for PC resources.
