I don't mind expensive so much - it's incompetent that really annoys
the hell out of me...
I've gotten the impression that a lot of the Linux geeks (meant as a
compliment) out there are pretty hardware savvy and lots can/will do
crossover work into a Windows environment. Perhaps seeing if there's a
local Linux Users Group and cherry pick out of their membership? Lots
of those guys freelance, at least around here they do...

Matthew: I have a friend that is very good on Linux and Windows.
Servers and everything. Trouble is, that he goes about things at his
pace and does not respond well to getting the customer up and running
quickly. For example he will give you a three day window.
He will also pick and choose which jobs he wants to do. IOW not reliable.
