I don't mind expensive so much - it's incompetent that really annoys the hell out of me... I've gotten the impression that a lot of the Linux geeks (meant as a compliment) out there are pretty hardware savvy and lots can/will do crossover work into a Windows environment. Perhaps seeing if there's a local Linux Users Group and cherry pick out of their membership?
