I'll cut President Obama some slack on his difficulty in presenting a clear picture of the very complex health care bill. I don't think anyone totally understood everything about the bill, and it was to be more fully developed in conjunction with its implementation. The bill was being pushed through congress at the worst possible time. The financial sector of the economy was failing, businesses were being crippled and forced to lay off workers, the stock market crashed, major banks, industries, and the real estate market were facing bankruptcy and millions of Americans were be forced out of there homes. Needless to say President Obama had a lot on his plate. It was a rough spell, but President Obama has skillfully lead us through this disastrous period, but I fear Health Care Reform will become a causality of the great recession of 2007-2009.
