His son was getting rich with the commissions generated. LOL Clark Breeding would come to work early with his own coffee thermal fired up and ready to go. By noon I observed him many times crossing the street at a downtown intersection, as he floated across the street when the walk sign turn green. He like to shuffled over to a downtown stock brokerage firm, close to city hall, to check on the stock market. He was a millionaire many times over and had a shofer that did all his driving. He only took the City Auditor job for one year as a courtesy. He was task with computerizing and modernizing the Dallas accounting/budgeting systems, which was then a disjointed manual based system. Still, if drinking continues long enough, it will break anyone in the end.
