I've gone over code and done more testing with load testers and mods to socketwrapper to provoke and I only get the rebuffering symptoms in the same way as before. I've had a few cases where no audio but they only occur when logging is disabled. This may be due to a race condition so perhaps logging slows things down enough to avoid the race condition or my mods may have gone too far. Either way I can't determine the issue and absolutely no audio is not a reported symptom .
My current thinking. 1. Release a 1.5.2 with a few minor changes in the knowledge that some Win10 users have a problems 2. Start a new thread for 1.5.2 as this thread has got too long and with diversions it is hard for users to spot the update to test. Hopefully a few more win10 testers will respond. 3. Get confirmation from affected Win10 users (e.g. sota, davidismynaim) that 1.4.7/9 suffered from same live rebuffering so 1.5.1 live rebuffering is not a new issue due to HTTP/1.1. 4.
