The "several thousand seconds delay" is a bug introduced in 1.5.1 with
the "live delay".

What you report seems to be what I expected. So 1.5.2 will have a longer
"Live delay" - I think multicore windows system needs a lot more data in
the initial pipeline when starting to play a program.
