Yes and no. fdisk has lot of help. And there is cfdisk which is similar to fdisk on dos. But I don't find either fdisk or cfdisk on my centos 4.5 installation. I don't recall having them when I played with FC8 live CDs. I ditched FC8 anyways. So fdisk may not be so much omnipresent as thought.
