I cut it down to prevent vignetting with the 20mm lens when I'm stacking it on top of a round filter. Don't have a hood for it; I don't find these type of filters useful in situations in which flare is likely to be a problem so I've never found the need for one. -- Mark Roberts Photography and writing www.robertstech.com
