Filter Systems for SMC-FA* 24mm

Now, where was I? Oh yeah, that's right. I wanted to know of peoples experiences with modular filter systems such as the Lee, Cokin or Hi-Tech systems. The Lee system in particular seems hideously expensive. Any comments from those in the know. I am interested in using a modular system primarily on my SMC-FA* 24mm.
