You say that like it is a bad thing. What you call "bargain" I call
"bang-for-the-buck"
You are arguing semantics while saying exactly the same thing. The
problem Pentax ran into was that they allowed themselves to become the
bargain brand and did nothing about it. When the going got tough, the
cheap got thrown to the curb.
