That's often illusory. At present it's being used here in California to make it next to impossible for me to buy raw milk - it's off the shelves at Whole Foods, and the only way I can get Claravale Farms products is through a collective. I'd rather not pay the other hidden costs, either. I prefer to get my antibiotics from a doctor, when I need them, and not breed strains of bacteria immune to most treatments. To raise animals in the proximity required by agribusiness the animal feed contains high doses of antibiotics; without that a herd can be ravaged in no time at all.
