The damage in my neighbourhood isn't really having any effect on me except the lack of water and sewer is taking a bit of getting used to again. A couple of hundred metres east of my house, it looks like nothing happened. Despite the damage the houses in my area are safe and the roads passable with care.

I am very concerned about the CBD. It looks like one hell of a mess and it's hard to deal with the thought of fatalities. No idea what's going to happen with work, which is once again in a cordoned area and may remain cordoned for a few weeks. I'm just glad the building is strong and my co-workers were OK.
