Actually, I have boobd there. I've just remembered it was slow(er) with an older Mac I was using with it. But I have recently acquired a 'Blue and White' G3, and I noticed scanning seems that bit quicker, especially at full-res colour. The preview scan takes about 30 seconds, and the full 2700 dpi scan takes about another 45 seconds on my system. Of course, if one doesn't like the shot on preview, one selects another neg/slide to preview.
